LO5 P9: Explain analysed feedback for project feasibility

Explain analysed feedback for project feasibility

Feedback from Anne Doncaster:

  • This is a summary of what she said in the video during my presentation of the product:
    • She liked my idea
    • Thought it was really well researched
    • She liked the separation that the website was for more general advice whereas the mobile app was for more personal experience
Feedback from the Class:
  • I sent out a survey I created to my class members who watched my presentation to receive their feedback. The questions were as follows:
    • Is the concept of my media product appealing?
    • Can you envision my product being real?
    • Would you use my product?
    • Do you think my product would be successful?
    • Would you say my product is beneficial for the audience?
    • Was my presentation easy to follow?
    • After my presentation, do you have a clear mind about my product?
    • Was the presentation visually engaging?
    • Did you think there was an appropriate amount of text on each slide?
    • Is there any room for improvement and if so what?
  • Here are the results:

Evaluation of the Combined Feedback:

Looking back on my feedback, I have learnt that my product has been well researched and backed as I wasn't given any areas to research into to further improve my product. To make my product more viable I will take some of the advice from Anne Doncaster and have my website version act as a more general advice and information giving product whereas my mobile app verison of MindManage can act as the more personal experience and journey tracker for consumer's mental health. This would help because people are more likely to go onto their phones to track something this personal whereas if they would like to research something relating to mental health they are more liekly to look on the web where the website version will fulfil its' purpose of aiding them.

Reflecting on the answers from the survey, I learnt that people throughoughly understood my presentation and think that my product would be a success even if they wouldn't use it themselves personally. This shows how products are not for everyone and how you market your product towards the people who you know will have an interest in it. The comment received about maybe including a form of communication or ways to network was previously thought about before when creating the idea of my product. It was purposely not included in my product as I believe that the consumers should use this time to focus on their own mental state and that if we did open up my product to allow for communication it opens up the opportunities for any negative effects for example any bullying or comparing of progress which actively opposes the purpose of my product.
